The Pantanal of Brazil

This video is of the Pantanal in Brazil which is over 150,000 square miles in size and is the largest inland wetland in the
world. It is south of the amazon area and contains an incredible variety of wildlife. Our hopes to see wild Jaguar were
wildly surpassed as we had approximately 20 encounters with one watching a pair walk the river bank for over a quarter
mile and one taking a Caiman and swimming to shore and hauling it up the bank into the woods.

I am always filled with joy at the moments you capture on your trips. First, I try to glance you, JoAnn, and Alexandra, and in this case, Sierra. Then I feel as though I am on that river in the boat with all of you, marveling at the frisky male jaguar, the incredible storks, and the birds of all sorts! What wonderful pictures and video you capture. I love that the critters are labeled so I begin to know them. I love seeing that Sierra looks like Garrett. That anteater has such a tiny head compared to that body! I wish I had this footage when I was teaching science. Thank you for including me in your trip. I send my love to you and JoAnn and all. You take the most amazing trips.
