This video is something new I am trying out. I have looked through some of my old footage and selected out some fun or unusual
scenes and put them together as a collage from all over the world. Things jump around with no rhyme or reason but it is all wildlife.
Lots of big cats, grizzly and polar bears, whales and dolphins, Africa, the Poles, and places in between. If people like this I will go
through more trips and do it again. If there are any questions as to critters or locations just send me an e-mail and I will try to answer.

Salvador was the capitol of Brazil until 1763. It was the main entry port for the African slave trade and has a high population of people of African descent. The ladies in the large colorful hoop dresses make their money by posing for photographs with the many tourists. This city of about 3.5 million was one of the first cities in the New World. It is renowned for its Portuguese colonial architecture. This shows parts of the historical center.

Suriname was a Dutch colony and is located between Guyana and French Guiana along the northern coast of South America. This is a short nature walk we enjoyed.

Bahia Blanca Estancia

The Bahia Blanca Estuary is along the coast south from Buenos Aires. We experienced goucho performances as well as touring the ranch and observing some of the other animals they have such as gazelles and lama.
We also were able to stop and see burrowing parrots as they returned to roost. It was almost dark and one could barely see the parrots but the video camera did a great job in the low light.

A brief view of river life and how it totally dominates how people live. We were in areas and channels where probably no cruise ship had ever ventured and as such we were as much an oddity to the locals as they were to us.
